Authorities designated Francis "Frank" P. Sumner Sr., who passed away in 2016, as a person of interest in 2021. Sumner, a convicted rapist, owned auto body shops near the site where Bish was last seen. A comparison between DNA obtained from Sumner's son in a prison in Ohio and evidence from the case did not result in a match, as reported by Boston 25 News. A white car, the one Molly's mother recalled seeing the day before the disappearance, fades into history alongside unanswered questions and unresolved agony.
A vigil is set to honor Molly on June 28th at 7:00 p.m. at the Warren Town Common, as detailed by Boston 25 News.
