The City of Newnan has officially begun construction to expand the House of Pickleball with six new courts. The groundbreaking ceremony included Mayor Keith Brady, Council Members Rhodes Shell and Ray DuBose, and representatives from the Newnan Pickleball Association.
According to the City of Newnan, Mayor Brady called pickleball the city’s most popular amenity and thanked citizens, City Council, Coweta County, construction and engineering firms, and community partners for their support. The project is intended to meet growing demand from the local pickleball community.
The House of Pickleball has become a central recreational facility in Newnan, and the expansion reflects the sport’s rising popularity. Residents can stay updated on the project’s progress through the city’s official social media channels.
