According to a social media post by the department, the blaze engulfed a residential property but was swiftly brought under control. Officials have confirmed that there were no injuries linked to the incident.
The investigation into the fire's origin is currently being conducted by the Sevier County Fire Marshal's Office. While details remain scant, the collective efforts of multiple agencies managed to promptly to address the emergency. The multi-agency coordination included local volunteer fire departments from Waldens Creek, Seymour, and Townsend, as well as the Sevier County Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Pigeon Forge Fire Department.
Support for the firefighting teams was provided by an array of local services. The Sevier County Sheriff's Office, Sevier County Ambulance Service, Sevier County E-911, and Sevier County Electric System all played roles in managing the situation and ensuring public safety.
