An update, posted roughly 40 minutes into the incident, relayed by the Oakland Fire Department, indicated an improvement in conditions on the scene. As efforts continued, there have been no reported injuries among civilians or the firefighting personnel. The Incident Commander’s presence, overseeing the operation, was crucial in mitigating this emergency.
