Oceanside just got a little sweeter with Dirty Dough Cookies opening its doors wide to the public this June. The dessert spot, known for its indulgent "super-stuffed cookie bombs," celebrated a soft opening in May and, as Fox5 San Diego reports, they're upping the ante with a grand opening scheduled for June 14. It's not just about the confections; face painting, balloon art, and a range of interactive festivities are also on the agenda.
Located at 1850 Rancho Del Oro Road, the store is wisely setting up shop across from the bustling Frontwave Arena, as if free cookies needed any help attracting a crowd. According to their Instagram post, the Dirty Dough team is "over the moon excited to give back to the community" with their grand launch. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon sharp, the daylong celebration extends until 11 p.m., promising goodies not just for the taste buds but also for family fun.
The new Oceanside location flows into a packed day of events, offering free cookies from noon to 3 PM and free dirty sodas between 5 and 7 PM. Amidst the giveaways, the shop invites kids to engage with coloring pages that come with coupons and a chance to spin a wheel for additional deals. These timely treats are sandwiched with bursts of creativity through face painting and the timeless joy of balloon art.
Expect more than just fleeting satisfaction with Dirty Dough's 10% discount on everything in store during non-freebie intervals. After opening the new San Diego County location, the company now eyes Modesto for their fifth Californian storefront.
