Police responded to a shooting outside the Harkins Theater on E. Reno late on Tuesday around 11:45 PM. A young woman was killed in the incident, marking Oklahoma City’s 36th homicide of the year, as reported by the City of Oklahoma City.
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Lyric Lewis. According to the City of Oklahoma City, she was taken to a nearby hospital by a private vehicle after the shooting. She was later pronounced dead. The circumstances surrounding her death are still under investigation.
