The Oklahoma City community was urged to swiftly act when Isiah Clark, a 14-year-old boy with high-functioning autism, went missing. As per information provided by the Oklahoma City Police Department and relayed by KOCO, Clark was last seen yesterday afternoon, donning black pants and a hoodie in the vicinity of S.E. 21st Street and Central Avenue at around 4:45 p.m.
The local authorities were desperate to quickly find the Hispanic teen, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He is recognizable by his short, black hair. OKCPD took to the streets and social media to broadcast their urgent search, unequivocally stating anyone with relevant information should immediately come forward or call 911, as echoed in a statement obtained by KFOR.
The alert for the missing and endangered youth was issued for a city on edge, accustomed to alerts but never indifferent to the plight of one of their own. OKC FOX too reported on Clark's disappearance, underscoring the critical window for locating an autistic child, who may be more vulnerable without a guardian. Their report mentioned Clark's last known location was close to home on the 200 block of SE 21st Street.
