A shooting incident has been reported in Mt. Healthy, leaving one individual hospitalized in serious condition. The event occurred yesterday evening, shortly before 6 p.m. The location of the incident was pinpointed at the intersection of Angela Avenue and Clovernook, as was detailed by Local12.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was transported to UC Medical Center. Despite being in critical condition, the victim is reported to be stable. Mount Healthy Police Department, alongside Hamilton County dispatchers, confirmed gunshots were heard in the area just after 5:30 p.m. As of now, the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unknown, and law enforcement has yet to identify any potential suspect, an issue they aim to rapidly address in the ongoing investigation, as reported by WLWT.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, through spokesperson Kyla Woods, stated that deputies were called to support the Mt. Healthy police shortly after the shooting was reported. They arrived at the scene around 6:20 p.m. "One person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound," Woods said, as obtained by FOX19, though the full extent of the injuries was not provided.
