A standoff in a Falmouth neighborhood ended safely yesterday evening after hours of negotiation between local police and a barricaded individual. According to Boston 25 News, the incident began shortly before 4 p.m. at a residence on Teaticket Path.
The Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council’s SWAT Team and Falmouth Police worked to communicate with the individual inside the home. As reported by 7NEWS, the situation was resolved around 6:30 p.m., and the area was cleared shortly afterward.
No injuries were reported, and the suspect was taken into custody. Authorities have not released information about the cause of the standoff or the identity of the person involved. The Falmouth Police Department stated the incident remains under investigation, and further details may be released at a later time.
