Peoria is gearing up to blend patriotic celebration with community cheer this Independence Day as it hosts the All-American Festival on Friday, July 4. The city’s signature Fourth of July event will take place at the Peoria Sports Complex, located at 16101 N. 83rd Avenue, beginning at 4:30 p.m., and promises a lineup of free entertainment, live music, and what organizers call the “BEST fireworks show in Arizona.”
Central to the festivities is a Women’s Premier League soccer match featuring local team Desert Dreams FC facing off against PHX Heat FC. Admission to the match and all festival activities is free. To help beat the summer heat, attendees will receive complimentary handheld fans and cooling towels at the gate, while supplies last.
The festival grounds will feature inflatable attractions, climbing walls, trampolines, and lawn games, entertaining children and adults alike. Following the soccer match, the crowd can enjoy a live concert by the nostalgic cover band "Saved by the 90s" and sample a variety of options from local food vendors. The celebration will culminate in a fireworks show at 9 p.m., which city officials describe as the highlight of the night.
Peoria has also made accommodations for guests with sensory sensitivities, including designated quiet zones and a mobile sensory trailer. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Small coolers and strollers are permitted, though all bags will be subject to inspection. Alcohol, glass containers, pets (except service animals), oversized umbrellas, tents, and grills are not allowed on site.
Admission, parking, and all entertainment are free of charge. For a full schedule of events, guidelines, and additional information, visitors can consult the official event page on the City of Peoria’s website.
