According to a report from FOX 10 Phoenix, the Phoenix Police Department has identified the victim as 20-year-old Kendre Pride, discovered with at least one gunshot wound inside an apartment near 33rd and Glendale avenues around 5:10 p.m. on June 7.
Responding to a shots fired call, officers arrived, only to find a scene felled by violence and loss. Homicide detectives have since been trying to piece together the events that led to Pride's untimely death, amidst a community where safety has been punctured by the echo of a bullet.
