The suspected shooter fled the scene prior to police arrival, prompting a city-wide search.

This comes on the heels of another tragic occurrence where two other men were fatally injured by gunshot wounds in a Thursday afternoon incident. As mentioned by KTAR News, the victims were located at the intersection of 67th Avenue and Indian School Road. The men, identified as Mario Martinez, 36, and Luis Mendez-Armenta, 33, subsequently died from their injuries, one at the scene and the latter at a nearby hospital.
