A house fire incident on Zealand Ave did not escalate thanks to the quick actions of the homeowner and prompt response from the fire department. The blaze, reported at 9:40 AM this past Sunday, began on the patio of the residence located at 6507 Zealand Ave. According to the alert released, units arriving at the scene discovered that the fire had reached the eaves of the house before the homeowner intervened using a garden hose.
Close cooperation among local fire departments highlighted, with the Osseo and Plymouth fire departments, the community's readiness to respond to such emergencies. However, their services were subsequently canceled by the incident command, seeing that the homeowner had already extinguished the fire, as detailed by the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
Fortunately, the incident concluded without any reported injuries, as reported by the Brooklyn Park Police Department. Despite the potential severity of a residential fire, this particular occurrence did not draw media coverage.
