
David Tracy, 42, of Quincy, was arrested by South End police on charges related to a break-in at a Lululemon store in Boston.
According to a report from the Boston Police Department, at approximately 8:06 AM, officers responded to a report of a theft in progress at 776 Boylston Street. Police were informed that a suspect had entered the store before it opened and had taken several items.
A sergeant at the scene saw a man matching the suspect’s description attempting to flee through an alley near 780 Boylston Street. With assistance from a nearby detail officer, the suspect was detained.
Authorities recovered 26 items valued at approximately $2,331. In addition, officers found 11 non-prescription pills in Tracy’s possession.
Tracy was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of breaking and entering during the daytime, possession of a Class E substance, threat to commit a crime, and resisting arrest.
The Boston Police Department have not released further information regarding the alleged threat. The case is currently pending in the local criminal justice system.
