Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, the Louisiana-based fast-food chain known for its focus on simple chicken tender meals, is ready to make its first foray into the Mid-South market. The company has announced June 10 as the grand opening date for its new location in Southaven, Mississippi, taking over the space at 357 Goodman Road previously occupied by O’Charley’s. As reported by Action News 5, fans can expect a celebratory atmosphere with giveaways highlighting the kickoff.
The Southaven grand opening will not only mark a new dining option being available but is also anticipated to become an energetic event for the community. Among the various promotional activities outlined by Local Memphis, Raising Cane’s will conduct a "Lucky 20" drawing where 20 customers, age 13 and over, will win free Cane’s for a year. Additionally, the chain is giving away a commemorative hat and a free box combo card, which will be valid for a future visit to the first 100 patrons purchasing combo meals.
The new restaurant location will operate Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight, and will extend its hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., catering to late-night cravings. The report from WREG News shared that these upcoming Raising Cane's openings are part of a larger expansion, with additional locations slated for the Wolfchase area and Winchester Road near Hacks Cross Road. The brand's Mississippi expansion comes after having established over 600 Raising Cane's across the United States, including sites at Oxford, Mississippi, on the University of Mississippi's campus.
In a statement celebrating the Southaven grand opening, Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves conveyed the brand's enthusiasm, "Our craveable Chicken Finger meals have officially arrived to the King’s Castle. The rock 'n' roll spirit of Elvis is present in all of our restaurants, making our Memphis-area debut all the more fitting," Graves said. "Southaven’s energy, growth and strong sense of hospitality make it the perfect place for us to serve our craveable chicken finger meals and connect with customers across the area."
