Hey Ramsey residents, dust off those sneakers and get ready for some good old-fashioned playtime. According to a recent social media post by the City of Ramsey, there's a community play event for kids coming up that promises to be a truckload of fun – sans the trucks, of course, we're talking figurative fun here. The authorities say play is "fundamental to a child’s healthy development," and they surely aim to stick a pin in a day filled with games, sports, crafts, and snacks for the little ones. Slated to be held at The Draw ballfields, near the conspicuous big tree, the event is open from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
No pre-registration is required—though a heads-up is appreciated—so parents can drop in with their kids anytime during the event. However, if inclement weather rolls in, the program may be canceled. Keep in mind that updates will only be posted on the registration webpage and the City’s social media channels, so those not registered might miss important notices, as per the City of Ramsey.
