A 91-year-old Atlanta man, Linton Lowe, who was reported missing, has been found. Lowe, who has dementia, was last seen around noon on Wednesday in the 100 block of Dogwood Drive, prompting a search led by Atlanta police with assistance from the public, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
Lowe, described as 5-foot-6 and approximately 279 pounds, was believed to be driving a gray 2000 Ford Taurus. As reported by WSBTV, his wife reported him missing Wednesday evening. Yesterday morning, Jackson County deputies located him on Highway 16 in Jackson.
Officials from the Butts County Sheriff's Office later confirmed Lowe had been found and transported to a local hospital for evaluation. His current condition was not disclosed.
