Authorities have arrested a Roxbury man in connection with a murder that occurred behind Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School in Taunton. According to NBC Boston, the suspect, 39-year-old David Jones, is charged in the death of 39-year-old Stephan Myers of Falmouth. Myers was found dead on the morning of April 30 in a construction area behind the school.
Boston News 25 reports that Myers died from a single gunshot wound. Investigators have not yet clarified the relationship, if any, between Jones and Myers.
The arrest comes after more than a month of investigation. Jones is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Taunton District Court, as confirmed by the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. The investigation remains ongoing.
