Yuma Valley Contractors, Inc. was in charge of construction, which spanned a full 342 days. Meanwhile, CORE Engineering Group, PLLC played a key role, engineering a design intended to not only withstand the test of time but also to significantly improve and enhance the local water system's reliability and fire protection capabilities. With this project, San Luis is taking a major step toward addressing the needs of its expanding community.
Assistant Public Works Director Jorge Perez emphasized the project's importance beyond its physical presence. "This project represents more than just infrastructure; it's about securing the quality of life for our residents," Perez said in a statement released by the City of San Luis official website. The city managed to deliver this new facility on schedule, a move that indicates a forward-thinking approach to sustainability and municipal service improvements.
