
The Arizona Department of Public Safety has activated a Silver Alert for 69-year-old Jeffrey Anderson, a Phoenix resident reported missing since Wednesday. Phoenix Police are actively searching for Anderson, described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds, with black hair, a gray goatee, and blue eyes.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Jeffrey was reportedly last seen wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans, and light blue Sketcher sneakers. Family members have expressed concern for his safety, citing that he easily becomes disoriented and has limited communication skills, which may increase his vulnerability. The last known sighting of Anderson was around 7:15 p.m. in his complex on foot in the vicinity of North 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Phoenix. The public is being urged to try and to look out for him and to contact authorities if they have any information regarding his whereabouts.
The Phoenix Police Department, led by Detective Titus, is the primary agency coordinating search efforts. They are asking anyone who might have seen Jeffrey or know of his current location to call them at 602-262-6151 or to dial 911 in an emergency. The seriousness of this situation is underscored by Jeffrey's condition which can lead to confusion and disorientation, raising urgency among local law enforcement and the community.
