According to an announcement from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) obtained by SFist, certain roads will be temporarily off-limits as crews take to seal the bridge driving surfaces. This maintenance effort is part of a routine upkeep plan, aiming to keep our road infrastructure in tip-top shape.
The scheduled work will completely close Ladue over Route 141 and S. Woods Mill from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday. For those who might need to carefully plan ahead, be aware that this isn't the first time this work has been on the agenda—it was initially slated earlier in the month but was postponed due to inclement weather.
There will be some limited ramp access during this time. "The ramp from northbound Route 141 to Ladue will remain open, but drivers will only be able to turn right," MoDOT informed us. For those seeking to journey west on Ladue from northbound 141, the department advises travelers to utilize Route 340 (Olive Boulevard), then S. Woods Mill to hit westbound Ladue.
For those approaching from the south, the southbound Route 141 to Ladue ramp won't be available. Woods Mill Road, the exits to westbound Ladue will remain open, but the exits to eastbound Ladue will be closed," as per the MoDOT announcement.
