A St. Louis County man has been taken into custody in connection with the April shooting death in College Hill, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department stated yesterday. The suspect, identified as a 46-year-old male, has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action for the murder of Anthony Conner, according to the SLMPD reports.
The victim, 22-year-old Anthony Conner of St. Louis County, was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds on April 29, this discovery was made in the rear of the 1900 block of E. Obear, as SLMPD's official statement elucidates, shortly after police were called to the scene around 8:50 a.m., upon arrival officers found him on the ground, and EMS pronounced Conner dead at the scene. The arrest of the suspect followed an investigation led by homicide detectives, culminating in the arrest on Saturday.
