Tragedy has struck the Hyde Park neighborhood as the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) announced the death of 41-year-old Joseph Brown, which has now been declared a homicide. According to an SLMPD press release, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) officials responded to a call about a "person down" on May 25, finding Brown with a severe injury and promptly transporting him to the hospital for care.
