Although these officers, Maxwell Dehn, Corey Andress, Craig Wilking, Hailey Luhmann, Cameron Barukzoy, Nicolas Monaghan, and Aaron Gilley, had previously taken the official oath on their respective start dates, this ceremony represented the conclusion of their rigorous field training. The event was a formal gesture that served to acquaint the officers with the community they've pledged to serve. Three of the seven officers, Barukzoy, Gilley, and Monaghan, are graduates of the department's Pathways to Policing program, a fact that highlights the department's efforts in nurturing homegrown talent.
Officers Dehn, Andress, and Wilking joined the force in the latter part of 2023, while the remaining newcomers, Luhmann, Barukzoy, Monaghan, and Gilley, started their tenure in January 2024.
