St. Lucie authorities are currently searching for a suspect involved in a credit card fraud incident, where the woman in question allegedly spent over $1,600 on cosmetics at an Ulta Beauty store. The theft took place on May 26, described by the St. Lucie Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post that featured security footage of the suspect exiting the premises, NBC Miami reports.

The individual, referred to as the "Glam Bandit", hasn't been identified but is noted for her distinctive attire, complete with a large, attention-grabbing hat, and oversized sunglasses, she walked out of the store after her fraudulent purchase. According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect was "ready to slay in a big fancy hat, oversized sunglasses, carrying out two giant bags like she's starring in a Pretty Woman sequel called 'Pretty Woman: The Credit Card Fraud Chronicles'".

The incident has prompted local law enforcement to advocate for public assistance in the case, specifically from those who might recognize the woman. A Facebook post from St. Lucie Sheriff's Office asked anyone with information to step forward and assist in the investigation. The "Glam Bandit" procured $1,681.64 worth of products at the Ulta located in St. Lucie West shortly before 2:40 PM on the day of the incident, according to the Facebook post.

Law enforcement’s call to action has been clear, urging anyone who might know the identity of the "makeup mogul on the run" to contact Detective Rodrigues in hopes of preventing any further incidents, notably as the suspect’s next target may be another beauty retailer. The St. Lucie Sheriff's Office half-jokingly warned, "If you recognize this makeup mogul on the run, do the right thing. Call Detective Rodrigues before she hits Sephora next". Local residents and businesses in the area have subsequently been advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to this case.
