On Thursday, the Atlanta Police Department responded to a shooting on the 3200 block of Cushman Circle SW around 7:09 PM. Officers found a juvenile male with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. The Atlanta Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the incident.
As per the Atlanta Police Department report, yesterday, 19-year-old Michael Hollis was arrested in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Hollis was initially detained by the Gwinnett County Police Department and has since been transferred to the Fulton County Jail.
