On a late June evening in Southwest Atlanta, a 17-year-old male was the victim of a drive-by shooting. The incident took place at 721 Crestwell Circle SW, where officers responded to reports of a person shot just after 11 PM last Friday.
According to the Atlanta Police Department's statement, the young man was found with a gunshot wound to his back. Despite his injury, he was alert, conscious, and breathing at the time emergency services arrived. He was swiftly transported to a local hospital to receive medical treatment. The initial findings suggest the gunfire to have come from a moving vehicle.
