The Las Cruces Police Department received reports of shots fired at approximately 9 p.m. last night, near the intersection of Solano Drive and Spruce Avenue, according to the Las Cruces Police Department. Emergency responders arrived at a distressing scene where they found the young victim with a fatal gunshot wound.
