Pitcher Liam Doyle and first baseman Andrew Fischer secured spots on the first team, while outfielder Hunter Ensley was named to the second team. An impressive season for Doyle culminated in a 10-4 record, a 3.20 ERA, and a nation-leading 164 strikeouts. Ensley hit career highs across the board, including a .336 batting average and a .949 OPS, details UTSports. Fischer led his team in several categories, notably with 25 home runs and a .760 slugging percentage.
Doyle's list of season accolades is extensive and includes being a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Trophy. Ensley, meanwhile, proved his mettle not only at the plate but also on defense, earning a nod to the SEC All-Defensive team.
