The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has scheduled lane closures for both directions of US 90 (Chef Menteur Hwy.) to carry out maintenance on the bridge's traffic gates.
According to an announcement posted by DOTD, the eastbound right lane will be closed from Johnny Jackson Blvd. to Majestic Oaks Dr., with the work starting early at 6 AM and stretching until the afternoon at 3 PM on Friday, June 6. The westbound lanes aren't escaping the touch of maintenance either.
