Roadwork is scheduled to begin on N Kilpatrick Street in North Portland from N Denver to Delaware avenues starting tomorrow. According to the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), the project involves repaving the street and is expected to be completed by Monday next week, weather permitting.
Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and possibly on weekends, paving one lane at a time. During the construction, only TriMet buses will be allowed through the work zone. All other vehicles will be rerouted, and drivers should expect delays and follow the directions of flaggers. Portland Bureau of Transportation recommends using alternate routes.
Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians. Portland Bureau of Transportation advises public transit users to check with TriMet for any service updates. Local access to homes and businesses will be maintained during the construction period.
