According to WSMV, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at a residence located at 701 40th Avenue North. The Metro Nashville Police Department was swiftly on the scene to respond to the emergency call.
The victim, having sustained a gunshot wound, was promptly taken to the hospital and, according to officials, she is expected to survive this harrowing ordeal. WKRN reported the woman's injuries were non-life-threatening, stressing the expectancy of recovery.
