Following a coordinated effort between law enforcement agencies, an 18-year-old sought for criminal homicide in connection with the fatal shooting of Jeremiah Brown on July 14 in Antioch, has been apprehended in Lebanon. The Lebanon Police Department, in cooperation with Metro Nashville Police, played a crucial role in the arrest of the suspect, Zachary Spitaliere. Lebanon Police detailed on social media how one of their officers initially spotted a vehicle linked to the Nashville incident on Interstate 40.
An officer from Lehbanon's Emergency Services Unit located the vehicle and conducted a routine traffic stop, which enabled detectives from MNPD to confirm Spitaliere's presence. According to the Lebanon Police Department, they worked swiftly to secure a search warrant for an apartment at the Rollingwood Apartment Community. What followed was a collaborative effort to definitively bring the suspect into custody without incident, reflecting the professionalism and quick action often quietly carried out by these public servants.
Lebanon Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and MNPD’s TITANS Unit coordinated to execute the search warrant. This led them to locate Spitaliere at a residence, where he was taken into custody. The Lebanon Police Department's X post added, "18-year-old Zachary Spitaliere, of Old Hickory, was located at the residence and was arrested without incident. He was charged with Criminal Homicide in connection with the July 14th fatal shooting of Jeremiah Brown that occurred in Antioch."
