Mayor Andre Dickens publicly shared this progress through the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) involving the Atlanta Citizens Review Board (ACRB), the Atlanta Police Department (APD), and the Mayor's Office.
The MOU formalizes a commitment to ensure comprehensive data sharing, particularly in sensitive cases such as Officer-Involved Shootings and Deaths in Custody. Mayor Dickens emphasized the significance of this move, stating, "This agreement reflects our shared commitment to accountability, transparency, and lasting, systemic change," in a statement published by the City of Atlanta's official news release.
