Today, a grim scene unfolded at 3083 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. SW. Atlanta police were flagged down for what was initially thought to be a vehicle accident, but an investigation quickly revealed a far more sinister reality. A male victim, unresponsive inside the vehicle due to a gunshot wound, according to an Atlanta Police Department report.
Emergency medical responders rushed to the scene shortly after the officers made the discovery. Attempts to save the man’s life were made, but to no avail; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Atlanta Police Department said the incident happened around 12:44 a.m.
