Not to be overlooked, the department's commitment to safety on the roads was underscored by the MADD Law Enforcement DWI Awards; Officer Cree led the charge with an impressive 85 DWI arrests, followed by Officer Satele with 55, and Officer Justen contributing 43 apprehensions to the year's total.

K9 Hector, part of the department's four-legged force, was also in the spotlight, fetching the USPCA Region 12 National Case of the Quarter Award for the 4th quarter.
