The Blount County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for Mark Allen Boling, a 62-year-old Rockford resident who has gone missing. Boling, who suffers from multiple medical conditions, was last seen leaving his home on Self Hollow Road on foot this past Wednesday. According to WBIR, Boling left without his cellphone and has not made any contact with his family since his departure.
Officials have expressed the urgency of locating Boling due to his health concerns. BCSO has not been able to determine a direction of travel, making the effort to quickly find him even more challenging. The Blount County Sheriff's Office urges the public to come forward with any information that can help to just begin to piece together Boling's whereabouts since Wednesday. Individuals who might possess relevant details are encouraged to contact Investigator Brett Orr at 865-273-5190 or via email at [email protected], as mentioned by WVLT.
In a statement obtained by WATE, the Blount County Sheriff's Office emphasizes the importance of community assistance in these situations, reminding the public that nearly 400 people go missing in Tennessee each year. They request that anyone who has seen or spoken to Boling in the last few days reach out to Investigator Orr with information.
