
Search and rescue teams concluded a grim search on Saturday at Yuba State Park Reservoir, recovering the body of a 39-year-old man from Salt Lake County. Last seen swimming near North Beach, the man had been reported missing around 4:30 p.m. that afternoon, sparking an urgent response from local authorities.
The coordinated search operation, involving crews from both Juab and Utah Counties, alongside the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Law Enforcement Division and the Utah Department of Public Safety, located the man's body at about 8:30 p.m. While seeking the missing man, officials used a variety of resources to canvass the waters adjacent to North Beach. "The incident remains under investigation at this time,” the Utah Department of Natural Resources stated in a press release, extending condolences to family and friends, as reported by KSLTV.
At the onset of the incident, authorities were alerted to the man's disappearance late Saturday afternoon.
