
The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert and is requesting public assistance in the search for 17-year-old Herra Louis from Hyde Park. According to the alert, she was last seen on June 20, around 2:00 PM on 40 Stanbro Street, Hyde Park. The BPD provided a description of Herra as a black female, standing 4′ 9″ tall and weighing approximately 176lbs, with curly shoulder-length hair, and was last observed wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
There have been reports that Herra may have dyed her hair red, and she appears to be familiar with the public transit system, possibly using MBTA buses and subways. Authorities noted that Herra, was spotted in the Downtown area on June 22 and in East Broadway, South Boston the following day. She was also in the vicinity of Abbot Street from July 4 to July 6, where she mentioned plans to visit friends in the Ashmont area.
Anyone with knowledge of Herra Louis's whereabouts is urged to come forward and can contact the authorities directly by calling 911 or reaching out to District E-18 Detectives at 617-343-5607.
