In a gesture aimed to foster better police-community partnerships, the Sheriff's Office is rolling out a variety of activities across several locations, each offering free food, an opportunity to meet first responders, and family-friendly fun. According to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, attendees of all ages are welcome to participate in the events scheduled to take place across Lyons, Nederland, Niwot, San Lazaro Park Properties, and Superior.
Its annual campaign has a history of enhancing relationships between neighbors and law enforcement, and this year is no different. With emergency vehicles on display, safety demonstrations to learn from, and local vendors to explore, organizers are keen to ensure participants have plenty to engage with.
