The Bremen Police Department is on the hunt for a third suspect implicated in the murder of 19-year-old T.J. Ware at the Red Rose Inn. Known by the nickname "Mook," the unidentified individual is connected to the shooting that occurred on June 17. The authorities released a video of the suspect, in a bid to solicit public assistance in their search, as reported by Fox 5 Atlanta.
Two individuals, Michael Blair, 20, and Joshua Blair, 23, have been arrested and charged with a litany of crimes including murder, aggravated assault, and home invasion, according to details shared by The Times-Georgian. Following a chase that extended into Villa Rica, both men were apprehended with injuries from gunfire. They were taken into custody after being treated and released from the hospital, and currently remain in Haralson County Jail without bond.
Ware, who had rented a room at the hotel, was met by the trio of acquaintances before the fatal encounter. The investigation by Bremen police suggested there was an exchange of gunfire in the room resulting in Ware's death. While gang activity has been ruled out in this tragic incident, the exact motives behind the shooting remain enshrouded in murkiness. Bremen Police Chief Keith Pesnell is quoted by The Times-Georgian stating, “We are following all kinds of leads to find out what led to the shooting. At this point, we can’t pinpoint the exact cause.”
The authorities believe that the individual known as "Mook" may be in the Atlanta area. Moreover, the Bremen Police Department is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Individuals with any information pertinent to "Mook" or the shooting are strongly encouraged to contact Inv. Chad Henderson by calling 770-537-4441. "Anyone with information on the shooting or who 'Mook' is should call the Bremen Police Department," Fox 5 Atlanta urges the public.
