The City of Brentwood Police Department responded last Friday to what began as a large preplanned gathering of young people at Sand Creek Crossing and the Streets of Brentwood, according to a statement released by the City of Brentwood Police Department. As the situation rapidly deteriorated, fights broke out, and several juveniles tore through businesses, carelessly knocking items off shelves. In response, surrounding businesses, inevitably ensuring their staff and property's safety, opted to shutter early amidst the upheaval.
