The Cary Fire Department has concluded the 2025 session of Camp Ignite, a program designed to introduce participants to firefighting and leadership. The five-day event included a series of structured activities focused on skill-building, teamwork, and exposure to fire service operations.
“After five unforgettable days of inspiration, growth, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun, we’re wrapping this years powerful week of Camp Ignite,” the department shared on a social media post. Organizers thanked all participants, including campers and volunteers, and acknowledged the joint effort involved in carrying out the program.
With this year’s camp concluded, the Cary Fire Department has begun preparations for the next Camp Ignite. “If you’ve been following along, thank you for the support—and if you’re new here, stick around! We’re counting down to next year’s camp!” the department's post reads.
