Residents of Casa Grande, it's time to have your say. The City of Casa Grande is hosting a Community Open House next month—a prime chance for you to get face-to-face with your City Council and express what's on your mind.
Scheduled for Monday, August 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Powell Senior Center on 405 E. 6th Street, this come-and-go event is set up to foster open communication. Described by Mayor Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons, the last Open House in January saw a gathering of around 100 community members. "We’re hoping to see even more this time around," she said, indicating the importance of these direct exchanges. "Our job is to listen," she stressed, "and these meetings are one of the best ways we can stay connected to the people we serve," as stated by the City of Casa Grande.
At the heart of the initiative dubbed "Engage Casa Grande!," this event represents an active conduit for residents to impact the future of their city. Under the gaze of the City Council, attendees can voice out their concerns, priorities, and innovative ideas. Conversations will also touch upon updates on funded projects and services with a view to enhance them, as noted by the City of Casa Grande.
