
A 6-year-old child was taken to the hospital after being found unresponsive in a Scottsdale community pool, according to local authorities. The incident was reported at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday, involving emergency personnel responding to a possible drowning at an apartment complex pool near Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway, ABC15 reported.
The Scottsdale Police Department said that upon arrival, the fire crews discovered the young child who was unresponsive. Having been pulled from the water, the child was quickly transported in a serious condition to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention, according to ABC15.
In a similar account of the events, FOX 10 Phoenix detailed that the emergency services were summoned to the community pool located at the intersection of 100th Street and Thompson Peak Parkway after the child was reported unresponsive in the pool.
"The child has been transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition," the Scottsdale Police Department stated, which provides no further updates on the condition of the child.
