
A Cincinnati man is facing charges after the accidental shooting of a child last Thursday evening in West Price Hill. Kenuel Collins-Ferrell, 19, has been accused of negligent assault following an incident that resulted in a 10-year-old being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, as reported by WLWT.
According to Local 12, the incident occurred on Woodbriar Lane and involved a Smith & Wesson M&P-15 rifle. Collins-Ferrell is set to appear in court today. Details about the circumstances of the shooting, however, have not been extensively disclosed, but it is known that the boy is expected to recover.
Collins-Ferrell, who was arrested without bond, is currently held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on the negligent assault charge.
