
Early this morning, a fatal shooting occurred in the Cincinnati neighborhood of West Price Hill. A 46-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound in a parking lot on Rapid Run Road around 1:30 a.m., LOCAL12 reported. Despite the quick response from authorities, the incident added yet another name to the growing list of gun violence victims in the area.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be released by officials, was transported to UC Medical Center. Tragically, he passed away from his injuries after arriving at the hospital, according to a WCPO news report.
His death marks a continued strain of such violent events plaguing community streets. As of this time, it remains unclear if the Cincinnati Police have identified or apprehended a suspect in connection with the shooting.
