The City of Dallas is set to host Boots in the Park, a lively evening of music, dance, and community spirit, scheduled for Friday, August 2, at Old City Park, located at 1515 Harwood Street, Dallas, TX 75215.
Admission is just $5 per person, with complimentary entry extended to senior citizens. The event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., beginning with a line dance class from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., designed to get participants moving and ready for the evening's festivities, per the City of Dallas.
Organized in partnership with Wild Bill’s Western Store, Boots in the Park will feature special line dance performances by various local groups, offering a vibrant showcase of Western dance traditions. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and pop-up tents to enjoy the outdoor setting comfortably.
The Dallas Park and Recreation Department underscores the event as a celebration of togetherness through dance, emphasizing its commitment to fostering community engagement.
