Yesterday morning, agents from the West Tennessee Drug Task Force conducted a raid on a Dyersburg home in what appears to be a straightforward case of felony drug possession and theft. According to a press release posted by the Task Force, the officers discovered a variety of illegal substances including 4.6 grams of methamphetamine, 11 Adderall tablets, and 6 Suboxone strips. Moreover, a motorcycle reported as stolen from Florida was recovered.
The operation also led to the arrest of one man on the property. He now faces to potentially grapple with both felony drug and theft charges. The Task Force was not alone in this endeavor, they were assisted by deputies from the Dyer County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect, whose name hasn't been released, will face the legal process. This particular case will be prosecuted by the office of Danny Goodman, Jr., the District Attorney General for the 29th Judicial District.
