The 15-year-old earned top honors in the 105-pound weight class in Fargo, North Dakota, this July, making history as El Paso's inaugural Fargo champion, according to Ysleta ISD.
Delgado's journey to the national spotlight has been nothing short of spectacular and her recent victory only the latest in a string of accolades; last year, she donned the stars and stripes for Team USA at the U15 Pan American Championships in Panama City, Panama where she bagged a gold medal, her prowess on the mat is as undeniable as the scorching Texas sun. Furthermore, Delgado helped her school team, the Troopers, snatch a District 1-6A title, entering the UIL 6A State Championships with a sterling 42-0 record, and naturally, taking home the gold in the 100-pound division, further burnishing her wrestling credentials in the eyes of her competitors.
